The Plant and Animal Genome XXIII Conference (PAG) is designed to provide a forum on recent developments and future plans for plant and animal genome projects. Consisting of technical presentations, poster sessions, exhibits and workshops, the conference is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and applications on this internationally important project.
The International Plant & Animal Genome XX Conference (PAG XX) was another record-breaking meeting and we would like to thank all who participated.
With a scientific attendance of 2,788 and total attendance of 3,213, PAG is the largest international scientific conference reporting on non-human species research. The meeting continued to build on its international presence with participants coming from over 65 countries, accounting for over 35% of the attendance. Over 1,700 scientific abstracts were submitted and over 1,000 posters were presented.
Plant & Animal Genome XXI will return to the Town & Country Hotel, January 12-16, 2013. The exhibit prospectus will be e-mailed in early June. Plant & Animal Genome XXI is expected to continue this success with total attendance projected to again exceed 3,000.
