PAG News & Updates

The International Plant & Animal Genome XX Conference (PAG XX) was another record-breaking meeting and we would like to thank all who participated.

With a scientific attendance of 2,788 and total attendance of 3,213, PAG is the largest international scientific conference reporting on non-human species research. The meeting continued to build on its international presence with participants coming from over 65 countries, accounting for over 35% of the attendance. Over 1,700 scientific abstracts were submitted and over 1,000 posters were presented.

Plant & Animal Genome XXI will return to the Town & Country Hotel, January 12-16, 2013.  The exhibit prospectus will be e-mailed in early June. Plant & Animal Genome XXI is expected to continue this success with total attendance projected to again exceed 3,000.

Abstract Submissions

Participants are invited to submit abstracts
for the poster session. All abstracts will
be reviewed by the conference chair
and accepted based on the subject matter.

ONLY accepted abstracts from registered
attendees will be included in the Abstract
Guide and presented in the Exhibit
Hall. Space is limited. Abstracts will be
accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Travel Grants

We offer various travel grants for students, and first time attendees. Each grant provides an award amount towards travel, and complimentary registration to the Plant and Animal Genome Conference. Be sure to check the eligibility requirements carefully before you apply.

The Application Deadline has now passed.

The 2013 travel grant award winners will be posted on the Travel Grants page in early December 2012.
