sue.wesslerPlease join us in welcoming Susan R. Wessler to the PAG Organizing Committee.

Dr. Wesler is a Distinguished Professor of Genetics at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) and member of the National Academy of Sciences. Her major focus is Transposable elements(TEs) in plants with a focus on the characterization of active transposable elements and a determination of how they contribute to genome evolution and adaptation.

Accepted poster abstracts will be presented at the poster session at the conference in the Exhibit Hall and will also be included in the Final Program, Abstract and Exhibit Guide.

After the conference, all abstracts will remain online in our searchable archives.

A  total of 1,681 abstracts were submitted this year!

Abstract Submissions

Participants are invited to submit abstracts
for the poster session. All abstracts will
be reviewed by the conference chair
and accepted based on the subject matter.

ONLY accepted abstracts from registered
attendees will be included in the Abstract
Guide and presented in the Exhibit
Hall. Space is limited. Abstracts will be
accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Travel Grants

We offer various travel grants for students, and first time attendees. Each grant provides an award amount towards travel, and complimentary registration to the Plant and Animal Genome Conference. Be sure to check the eligibility requirements carefully before you apply.

The Application Deadline has now passed.

The 2013 travel grant award winners will be posted on the Travel Grants page in early December 2012.
