We are pleased to offer the travel grants listed below. Each grant provides an award amount towards travel, and complimentary registration to the Plant and Animal Genome Conference. Some grants require the applicant to be traveling to the conference from outside the US, so please check the eligibility requirements carefully.

Awards will be presented at the Closing Banquet on Wednesday evening at the conference.
Instructions
Details and applications for each grant are below. There is one application that covers the Earl J. Scherago, Jerome P. Miksche, and Michael D. Gale Travel Grants - you do not need to fill out three separate forms. Please download the appropriate pdf, fill it out on screen, save, and email to the appropriate coordinator listed on the application. If the grant requires either a letter verifying the applicant's status as a graduate student or a letter of reccommendation from their department or office, please be sure this letter is on offical letterhead from your institution or organization and send as an email attachment, along with completed application. All grants also require that a poster abstract is officially submitted via Poster Abstract Submission Form on this website. All grants, except for the Aquaculture Species Group Student and Postdoctoral Fellowship Bursaries (which is due September 30, 2011), have a deadline of November 1, 2011.
The Aquaculture Genomics Group of the NRSP-8 is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of Travel Bursaries, of up to $1,000, to support the attendance of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at PAGXX. All graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who submit an abstract to the Aquaculture Workshop are eligible for consideration. Applicants must also submit a poster abstract and attach a letter from their advisor verifying they are a graduate student and will attend the PAG meeting to present a poster.
Award selections will be made and awardees will be notified soon after the September 30 deadline. Awards will be paid after the meeting as a travel stipend.

There are four (4) available awards in the amount of $350 each for travel expenses and complimentary registration from Scherago International, for a graduate student to travel to and attend PAGXX.
