Updated January 4, 2022

We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe, healthy environment for our attendees, exhibitors, conference and hotel management and staff, and for all individuals who are onsite at the Plant and Animal Conference (PAG). Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We are closely monitoring communications from the CDC and the California Department of Public Health and taking appropriate safeguards to address recommendations by these agencies.

IMPORTANT UPDATES:

  • As per a mandate from the California Department of Public Health, we are now requiring everyone wear a face covering indoors at the conference.
  • Proof of a FDA or World Health Organization authorized full vaccination, along with proof of a COVID-19 negative test  taken within 72 hours will be required for all individuals to enter the Conference Center.
  • Due to the current difficulties receiving PCR test results, we are now accepting COVID-19 negative antigen tests from a certified laboratory. We are NOT accepting home, or Over-the-Counter test results.
  •  As per CDC guidelines, we will also accept a “Documentation of Recovery” letter from a licensed healthcare provider or public health official stating that the attendee has been cleared for travel.

We also expect everyone to certify that they are not in one of the following groups:

  • Individuals who currently or within the past ten (10) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include but is not limited to; fever, coughing or shortness/difficulty in breathing, loss of taste/smell, fatigue, and headaches, among others.

  • Individuals who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

One Secure Entrance

In order to maintain our strict Covid safety protocols, the only entrance to the Conference Center, including the Registration area and all workshop and event rooms, will be via the Pacific Foyer (formerly Golden Pacific Foyer) which is adjacent to the Flamingo Lawn (formerly Lion Fountain Court).

There will be no direct access to the Conference Center from Fashion Valley Road, and the entrances via the Town & Country Foyer (formerly Atlas Foyer) or near the Exhibit Hall (Golden State Ballroom/Foyer) will be closed.

Attendees staying at other area hotels are advised to arrive at the hotel's main entrance at 500 Hotel Circle North, and walk through the property to the Flamingo Lawn. For those driving we recommend the Back Parking Lot, which has an entrance on Fashion Valley Road, and is a short walk to the Flamingo Lawn.
