Plant and Animal Genome Conference (PAG 30) COVID-19 Policy

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our attendees, exhibitors, conference and hotel staff, and for all individuals onsite at the conference, and we will follow all CDC guidelines in place as of January 1, 2023.

  • There are currently no vaccine requirements for attending the PAG 30. (If you are a non-U.S. citizen traveling to San Diego from outside the U.S, please see the note below regarding Travel Requirements for Non-U.S. Citizen, Non-U.S. Immigrants.
  • PAG recommends that all attendees be fully vaccinated and have also received the most updated bivalent boosters, which target the most recent Omicron subvariants, BA.4 and BA.5.
  • We recommend all attendees get tested for COVID-19 within 3 days prior to traveling to San Diego.
  • KN95 masks will be available to attendees who request them, however, they are not required. .
  • Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted within the Conference Center.
  • PAG reserves the right to deny entry to or remove anyone within the Conference Center who is presenting with flu-like or COVID-19 related symptoms.
  • The Plant and Animal Conference (PAG) and the Town and Country Hotel and Conference Center have put in place various preventative measures to address concerns relative to the spread of COVID-19. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee that those in attendance will not become infected with SARS-CoV-2 the virus that causes COVID-19, or any of it variant strains.


Travel Requirements for Non-U.S. Citizen, Non-U.S. Immigrants

If you are a non-U.S. citizen who is a nonimmigrant (not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or traveling to the United States on an immigrant visa), you will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine to travel to the United States by plane.
