International Plant & Animal Genome / PAG 31 • January 12-17, 2024  •  San Diego, CA, USA    PAG 31 Registration

All PAG attendees with paid registration are invited to submit poster abstracts. A poster abstract is a visual presentation where materials in addition to the abstract — such as genetic maps, physical maps, photographs, graphs, and/or tables — are presented on a display board along with textual summaries of the material. Over 1,100 poster abstracts will be presented at PAG, and for attendees this is a very valuable aspect of the conference.

PAG 2020 083 sm 2

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Abstract Coordinators. Accepted abstracts will be presented at the conference in the Exhibit Hall and will also be included in the Online Program. After the conference, the abstract will also be available online in the archives.

Poster Abstract Submission Information

All abstract presenting authors must be registered for the conference prior to submitting an abstract. Presenting authors MUST register for the full conference. A link for poster abstract submission will be posted at the top right of this page.

Please note:

Please be advised that all accepted abstracts are considered public information and by submitting an abstract you agree to license PAG and Scherago International to post the abstract on the conference web site.

Physical Poster Specifications

The poster presentation space available is 3ft wide x 4ft high, or 36in w x 48 in h (91cm x 122 cm) Dimensions are for a vertical poster. It is important to note that there is an approximately 1 inch metal rim on the border, which reduces the poster board VISIBLE space to 34 inches wide by 46 inches high (86 cm x 117 cm).

Posters are displayed directly next to each other, so there is no room on the horizontal sides for overflow. Should you require more vertical space however, posters greater than 46 inches in height can hang a few inches beyond the edge of the presentation board on the bottom.

Late Abstract Submission Information

Once the official Poster Abstract Submission deadline has passed, we will offer a link for Late Poster Abstact Submission. Posters submitted late will be assigned a poster number for displaying on-site in exhibit hall, and will be included online and in the mobile app.
