The Plant and Animal Genome Conference is designed to provide a forum on recent developments and future plans for plant & animal genome projects. Consisting of technical presentations, poster sessions, exhibits and workshops, the conference is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, and applications on this internationally important project.
PAG Categories and Fees
We currently have 3 registration categories:
- Industry - includes those at companies and commercial organizations.
- Non-profit - includes those at universities, and government organizations.
- Student - must be Pre-Ph.D and upload a letter of certification from their Department Chairperson.
There are 2 tiers of registration, based on date:
- Early Registration - accepted up through and including October 31, 2023.
- Standard Registration - November 1, 2023 through January 17, 2024.

Available Discounts/Financial Support
- PostDoc Registration Discount - We are offering a $100 discount to attendees in Postdoctoral Research Positions. Only applies to Full Conference registrations.
- Developing Countries Registration Discount - Citizens from countries currently experiencing economic hardship are eligible for this discounted rate of $50. The list of countries is determined based on the World Bank's low-income and lower-middle-income economies list. - Hotel PAG Discount - The Town and Country Resort and Conference center provides accommodations discounts for Government workers. Please visit our Conference Location/Accommodations.
- Travel Grants - Please visit our Travel Grants page for eligibility details and applications for our attendee Travel Grants, which provide an award amount towards travel, and complimentary registration to the Plant and Animal Genome Conference.
Payment Policies
All payments must be in US currency, drawn on a U.S. bank. We do not accept payment in Euros or any other currency.
For discounted Early Registration pricing, payment must be made in full and all checks and wired funds must be received by November 30. Payments received December 1 and later will not received discounted pricing and Standard Registration rates will apply.
All check and wire transfers must be paid in full by December 15, 2023 or the registration will be cancelled.

Onsite Exhibits-Only Access
A number of complimentary Exhibits-Only badges will be available onsite for Monday, January 15 and Tuesday January 16. There is no charge for these badges and they allow the bearer access to only the Exhibit Hall to view Exhibits and Poster areas (including the lower level poster area).
All Exhibits-Only badges are issued onsite only, and do not provide access to any of the scientific sessions, workshops, plenary talks, or events.
Exhibits-Only badges that include the Welcome Reception (which starts at 7pm on Sunday) are also available for a fee of $50.

How to Register
You must complete the online registration form to register for PAG 31.
You may register in advance of the show and receive discounted pricing, or onsite at the conference.Payment options are credit card, check, or wire transfer.
Upon arrival, all attendees must pick up their badge and registration materials onsite at the registration kiosks, located in the Atlas Foyer.

Onsite Registration / Onsite Badge Pickup
At the conference, the registration booths will be located in the Atlas Foyer of the Town & Country Hotel & Conference Center. If you have not registered in advance, you can do so via the self-serve kiosks, and representatives will be available to assist you.
If you have already registered online, please go to a kiosk and enter your information, to recieve your PAG badge, then procceed to the Bag Pickup area, to collect your show materials, which include a registration bag, badge holder, & lanyard.

Cancellations and Substitutions
All cancellations must be received in writing to Scherago International by October 15, 2023 in order to receive a refund. A $50 processing charge will be applied to all refunds. After that date, credits for the 2025 PAG meeting will be issued.
If you are unable to attend PAG, you may send a substitute in your place. Contact us to adjust your registration details and replace your badge name and affiliation with that of your replacement.
For cancellations as a result of COVID-19 related health and safety concerns, contact us to arrange a refund.
